Battle of Lemolad

Posted by Wandah On November - 26 - 2009

Here my new games for November 2009.

I call it “Battle of Lemolad”, the 3-Match version of Word Kingdom. This game is the simple version of Word Kingdom with new features like 3Match instead of making Word to get the resources, simple battle engine and simple building upgrade.

The main storyline is about military campaign to conquer all the Kingdoms in Lemolad. You have to use your matching and military strategy skills to invade hostile castles, build up your own city, train/upgrade troops such as soldiers, archers, cavalry and use magic with your mages. Features both Campaign Mode and Deathmatch.

Here some of the screenshots of the game :

Game feature (compared to Word Kingdom):

  • Match 3 games (Bejeweled style) as the main game play to gather the resources
  • Magic attack : - dirrect attack and magical power
  • Simple send troop (Build and send) you don’t have to wait the training progress as the units are completely trained when you click the train button.
  • Upgrade building page at the end of each level.
  • Different battle ground in each level

The game have been online since today at KING.com

or play it  on my website Wandah.com

Thats it! please write some feedback about this game

Just played through “Battle of Lemolad”, found it via http://www.nodwick.com
Overall a good game, I like how in the match-3 part you get rid of the entire color-grouping of tiles at once, it helps keep the clutter off the bottom…
Haven’t played “Word Kingdom”, I’ll check it out.

    Some comments:

*Some more diversity in the soldier cost, please. For example, the basic conscript might have no gold cost, so you’re not doomed if you run out of gold.

    * Some more info would be good when upgrading. What exactly do I get, will basic soldiers do more damage when I upgrade barracks? What exchange rate will I get when Iupgrade the market?

    * Some more variety in spells would be neat. Maybe a “summon monster” spell, a “bloodlust” spell affecting soldiers, etc.

    * Could we get some bonus system for the three-in-a-row part? Maybe so tiles count twice if they’re in two different triples? Bonus for extra many tiles at once, long chain reactions, that kinda thing? It doesn’t have to do the whole “bejewled” thing, but bonuses would give some more incentive for being playful…

    * I was unable to trade with metal at the market.
In the end, I had about 1500 metal, and could do nothing with it.

    * Nitpick: “Elite Swordsman” is called “Paladin” in the battle screen.

I would have to agree with Elyandarin on the metal part. There didn’t seem to be much use for it in the end when I finished and I wanted to sell it so that I could buy other things with it, but never got the chance. Was hoping that upgrading my market would bring up a screen that would allow me to, but it never did. I ended up having to be defeated a few times in order to finish the game at the end as I needed a lot of food and gold to get better soldiers. All in all, I think it was a fun game. Could use a few more levels afterwards as well.

  8. The credit loans suppose to be essential for people, which are willing to organize their own career. As a fact, it’s very comfortable to get a commercial loan.
