Virtual Heritage “Borobudur” is an immersive virtual tour application that digitally presents Borobudur Temple as a cultural heritage site. The application allows users to explore the temple in a first-person perspective across multiple platforms, including PC, Android devices, and Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs) such as Oculus and Google Cardboard.
The system is developed using WebGL and Babylon.js 3D, enabling real-time rendering and interactive exploration within a web-based environment. Virtual Heritage “Borobudur” was produced as an applied research outcome in 2024, with a focus on digital preservation, immersive learning, and cultural heritage dissemination.
